anyone here knows how to set up a MSD ignition on the scion tc so that i can use a 2 step launch control module? i know the tc has individual coils is there anyway i can set it up on that? your replies are greatly appreciated...

 

I think it would better if you call MSD. I dont think a 6AL will work on a coil on plug system anywas here there number 915-857-5200 . I also dont think MSD has any thing that will work with the stock Scion ciols. The only other option is going with a stand alone EMS..

i haven't seen anything with regards to a MSD setup on our vehicles..

but if you really want to double check.. contacting them directly would be your other choice i can see.

 

yeah i guess i can call and find out,.. i just really dont want to spend alot of mony on EMS... i've done MSD 6AL on civics with the 2 step and stuff for cheap and get the same result but if i can somehow convert to a single coil if possible but then again i dont want it make it a big deal... lol

actually i've talked to a few people and msd has a system for a coil plug ignition but it doesn't supprt the scion 2azfe ignition setup,.. the only other option is an AEM Engine Manegment System (EMS) but i think it runs at like $1500,..

 

thats not true, from what i understand the dis-4 should work.

 

The MSD DIS 4 will work and plus you can do the 2 nd step and the Anti lag.
