I dont have any problems with that. You may want to get that looked at. Im not sure though it's a lot colder in NY than in KY. I still dont think it should be doing that though.

This has been discussed in the past. Many people have that problem. Putting in some redline mt-90 manual transmission lubricant is a nice way of helping to alleviate the problem. What you can do in the meantime, is shift from 1st, to neutral, to 2nd (single clutching).

The dealership would tell you that there is nothing wrong with the car as they tell everybody else.

It happens with or without an extensive warm-up, there is really no need to do a 5-10 minute warmup. In fact, the manual says not to. 30seconds to 1 minute is more than enough

Second gear is noticeably harder to hit after doing the clutch stop mod, especially when you shift near redline. At the strip, I have missed second gear a couple of times because of it. I just put in the NST stainless shifter bushings last night and on my morning commute, noticed that the shifting was a lot tighter and more precise. I haven't gone WOT from a stop though to try the redline shift into second though. I may just wait until I hit the strip next spring. By that time, I should have Redline transmission fluid in my car.
