Default Seen this before, but question on E-Bay short shifters

Ok i'm not looking for a super high performance racing shift, I just hate the stock height of the shifter. I want to lower it, and wanted to know if any of these links are good enough? I just want to lower it about the height of the stock rubber shift ****.

I dont want to spend $120-$150 on tmw or similiar.

I know Creative Compacts is easy, but I like ordering on ebay because I can easily use paypal...unless creative uses paypal too, I dont recall seeing it on there, may have to call..

$81.98 shipped, and comes with the enclosure, I read a few posts with positive things about these, are they still lasting? and a much easier swap than just the shaft?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-06...spagenameZWDVW

$43.98 shipped
http://cgi.ebay.com/04-05-06-SCION-T...QQcmdZViewItem

$45 shipped (looks same as one above, just maybe a few diff bolts or something?)

$69+shipping Creative Compacts
http://creativecompacts.com/Merchant...Category_Code=

I read the Creative is the same as the ebay one too???
Let me know...as I said I dont drive aggressive at all...and just want basically a lower height, and I have heard hacking your stock one isnt smart...so any input is great!

Thanks!

IIRC, CC does use Paypal (or at least accept credit on the site). Even if they don't they're a great company to deal with. I don't think I had to call to order.

Though I wouldn't trust ANYTHING from eBay for the tC with the words JDM in the title... unless it was some stupid little cosmetic thing - which a short shifter is not.

The Creative Compacts one may just be a different generic one that they sell, but I'll trust it from them before eBay.

whats the difference? all short shifters are designed nearly the same way... just a rod and an extra metal piece stickin out... only difference is the rod is more shorter than stock. you might as well cut it

No... it's not just shorter. Look at the TRD and B&M and such... nice shortened throw with little or no change in height. There is engineering involved. Some more than others though.
