Which shifter bushings?
Car:: '06 Scion tC
Interested in 2 kinds.
TWM "Bronzoil" cage base and cable bushings.
Or Dr. Isotopes Delrin Cage base and cable bushings.
Metal would be stiffer, but I've seen claims of extra noise/vibration. And also claims that the extra noise or vibration doesn't exist after installation of metal bushings.
Dr. I is a solid source I've trusted since I found out about it.
What exactly is Delrin? From what I've gathered I assume just a very hard/stiff rubber of some sort.
Also, I have a TRD shortshifter. I read it comes with cage, but not cable bushings. Figure they could be replaced by now anyway. Besides, I cut the shaft even shorter after the install, so maybe there's been more wear on the bushings than normal, heh.
Thanks in advance!

Delron is not a hard rubber. Its a hard plastic I think. But I would go w/ Doc Iso bushings because i have heard of plenty of people having them nd loving them. Plus they are probably cheaper cause TWM stuff is so overpriced.
The only hard part about cable bushings is squeezing your arm through that tight spot without removing the intake & struts bar.
I have Dr. Iso's cable bushings. Highly recommend. I got no instructions w/ mine though. I looked it up here on scionLife
