Default Shifter movement/vibration

I've noticed in 5th gear, my shifter **** moves forward when i take my foot off the gas pedal and backward when i depress the gas pedal. I presume it's the torque of the engine moving the shifter back and forth (it only moves a centimeter at most, probably more like half a centimeter), and am not particularly worried, but just curious if this is common. At speeds above 65 or so, there also seems to be a vibration in the shifter. Has anyone else experienced this?

yep... the engine moves a lot in there and that movement gets transferred down throught to the shifter... an ingalls dampener may minimize it a bit... but it's the life of a moving motor on stock mounts.

my shifter twitches

i believe its a result from the use of such a high gear handling and good amount of torque, it moves the shifter
, im sure its normal
