skunk2 catback
yeah i did its the black crossbeam that holds up the exhaust incase it randomly falls off...its in like the center of the car..all u gotta do is put 2 washers on both sides to seperate the distance..and ull be good 2 go
yeah i also put a clamp around that to hold it to the hook...but that only caused more rattling..soo after i took that off and i fixed the bar beam..it didnt make any noises u also gotta adjust the rubber hooks to center it..ohh and i looked at ur pics of ur waves and i kno one of the beaches u were at in mexico
I have the Skunk2 also. Did the washer thing for the "if your exhaust falls off it will hold the exhaust up and won't pole vault your car in the air..."
After I put on the exhaust I started driving around. At a specific RPM I started hearing a BAM BAM BAM. Shook the whole car. It was the exhaust flange (last one to the rear) hitting the black welded on loop thingy. Well, out comes the air grinder. Cut it off. Now I have a black U shaped piece of metal on my desk. Needless to say I frowned on that. IMO it's a design flaw. BUT, that being said, I do like the way it looks and how it doesn't hang down as much as the Injen axle back.
