Default skunk2...i tried

i emailed skunk2 yesterday night in hopes of having them make a intake manifold for our cars. here is their response.

Thank you for contacting Skunk2. Thank you for your input and we will consider it. The Scion TC is a great powerplant but it is still very new compared to other models such as the Civic in which we have parts for going back to 1988 (almost 20 years). If demand should have it, say 100,000 people or more should demand it, then we will consider it. But the Scion TC is still new and the resources for research and development as well as production costs have not yet come close to making it worth while for us(not to say it will never be). There are still many other makes and models that have high demand yet are not on our list of intake manifolds because the demand is still too low (ie. S2000, Evo, WRX, Celica, 240sx, SER, 350Z, etc). We do still make an exhaust, coilovers, lowering springs, shift *****, and other engine accessories for your car. Please let us know if you have any other questions regarding Skunk2 products.

I'm surprised they don't even make them for the s2k's, evos, or wrx's

I think what he means by "intake manifold" is the intake manifold.

If we all spam them, then a lot of us should buy from them. As it is, if we all spam them, hardly any of us will actually buy it. It'd hardly be fair for them.

Why don't we spam the people who told us they were planning an application for the tC. You know, like Golden Eagle.

I would probably buy an intake manifold if they produced one for the tC. I think with my F/I set up, it may have some decent gains

100,000 huh, skunk2 is a damn good company and I know some great tuners that recomend their manifolds. I'd be down if they actually took some time to build one.

skunk2 is known for being a honda-acura specialist and just recently started making parts for other imports so be paitent and the more people that send e-mails with interest to big company's like that the more we will start seeing parts developed.
