Anyone installed this chip on a 2008? are you satisfied with it? Exactly which wires did you attach it to? Do you experiance the HP gains quoted? Reviews anyone??

you are stupid, that chip, and every other chip that claims to increase a scion's hp is a just a resistor that does nothing. learn about how cars really work and how engines can develop more horsepower, and how fuel mileage works and how and engine's ECU operates.
if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
now go to how stuff works and learn about ...how stuff works...

lol @ people jumping down his throat for asking if it helped performance.
Instead of saying no and explaining what would, just dumb replys. What a civilized community this is. I really need a G.
90% of tC buyers are going to be young, non-knowledgeable kids. Questions like this will always come up on this forum. Get over it. Not everybody is a performance expert.
jkois, save your money and get something that might somewhat help performance. Exhaust and intake does some, but very little. Lightweight pulleys, again very little. If you're really looking for more power, you need to get out into the boost category. Supercharger, turbo. Also Nitrous for quick shots.
The money you'll be spending on a "chip" you can actually get power and buy a NX or another brand nitrous setup. But if I was you, buy an exhaust and intake to set yourself out of the crowd some of stocky tC's if you'd like, and save your money to get boost. Turbo is my induction of choice when I can afford it. Superchagers w/ engine management and bigger fuel injectors, different pulley, etc can net double the WHP of stock also.
Forced Induction > Natural Aspiration
edit: nevermind on the chip being as much as an NX setup. LOL $70.

granted there are other ecu mod setups/re-vamps out there for other cars, the TC does not have one.
save your dough and get a turbo.
or spend some time researching what you ask before you do.

Your so right. its been almost 2 years since i got on scionlife.com and theres alot of new cats here. i miss the old crowd, the real car enthusiasts and the people who learned to be a car enthusiast. i guess everyone is too lazy to repeat the same crap we've (04-06 owners) been going through years back.
