So here is my school project (I hope I'm not rice now)
Our senior class had to do a career project this semester. We had to write research papers and do job presentations. Since I want to be an automotive engineer, I decided to design, build, and run a simple pvc CAI on the tC, but not like the ones you see on the super riced out civics. I wanted to do something classy, tasteful, and functional (if that's even possible with a pvc intake) using one pipe size and put a nice paint job since there it will be judged and a scholarship will be awarded to the winner.
Here are the pics.

So any opinions? And by the way, I don't plan to keep it on very long.

i was about to say has your CEL light come on yet but then i saw the headers. how does the car feel with that tube you put on there and i see you probably made the fitting right and probably tight to have the MAF on there without screwing it on.
I look at the first and second pics and I'm like Noooo haha n then i scroll down n see the rest. Honestly, not bad.
Some other guy tried making one here on SL, his was pathetic
Hope you win

Thanks for compliments, guys.
I'm using a cheap APC filter from Advance Auto since I probably won't have it on very long, but if I do decide to keep it on, I will put my AEM filter on.

You may want to rethink using that material. PVC is not heat tolerant and when it is heated it releases toxic gases that are harmful to you and aluminum, that metal that the engine is made out of....
I was going to use some high temp, but I figured that since I wasn't going to have it on for very long that I would just use regular paint. I used black duplicolor textured metallic from Autozone.
