Default so i've learned my lesson...

nology wires were a bad idea. period.

as much as they're talked down here, i thought they couldnt be *that* bad, so when i found em brand new for 60 bucks shipped from a guy parting out, i got on it.

that was a few months ago..

flash forward to the last 2 weeks or so. my car has been having some issues lately... sputtering, rough idle, jerking, etc etc. i couldn't figure o ut what it was. So today i go to install my new spark plug cover and figured while i'm in that area, i might as well check the wires. Take them off the coil packs and waht do i see?

rust.

LOTS

of rust.

no wonder my car has been acting up, the electrical charge cant make it to the effing spark plugs because they're all corroded. needless to say, i took the wires off, and now i have no issues.

just a heads up to everyone.

Well.... I told you they were a step down ... And I have to give you crap about it!

One question though. Did you apply a little dieletric grease to the boots before putting them on? That will help prevent the corrosion issue. But those did seem to go quick!
