Hey guys, Need a little help from those techies out there.

Ive just ordered the Kamanari CF Reverse Cowle hood, Dezod 3" pipe cat-back exhaust system, and the DME Engine torque dampner.


Anything I should know.... Ive done alot of research on all of the parts, but Im looking for any last-minute advice thats out there.

yeah should be pretty simple for the most part if you have the right stuff. I personally have no experience with the TD though

Clutchmasters Stage 3 Clutch, and Lightweight Flywheel.

 

you're installing the new clutch by yourself? gl with that. and the new clutch nd flywheel r going to be a totally different feel from stock, so be prepared. shouldn't take much to get used to it, but it'll definitely be different.

 

yeah definetely take it to shop for the clutch and flywheel

 

Lol, yeah, not going to touch those without any experience.

Also, good different or different-different? Think it will be a softer quicker throw?

 

dunno bout the throw, since throw depends on the shifter... but clutch engages a lot quicker, but you're going to have to rev higher when you start off, because of the decreased inertia of the flywheel. i have a act clutch nd a fidanza flywheel, and the first day, i was so proud that i didnt' stall. a week later i did in the parking lot... but yeah feels a LOT better, but my act is stiffer than stock, but o well.

 

Awesome. So stiffer clutch (thats alright) but better quicker engagement. How much higher? I usually get up to about 1500rpm before I let the clutch go.. On street that is... :D

 

i'll usually go up to 2000+ revs now. maybe like 1800 on a lucky launch. and engine braking's a lot more significant. love it to scare the tailgaters.

The Richmond Internation Raceway in Richmond VA is having an amature show & race on the 24th of this month... trying to make my black '08 tC in deep sleeper mode dude... Nothing visual, but all muscle. :D

 

make sure to properly break in your clutch before you take it racing. Also (not that I care but) your car will never be "muscle" as that word refers to amrican v-8s. Don't get me wrong, you can make tCs beasts, I'm just sayid be careful cuz American car owners can be ____y
