I have seen a couple cars around that have the split exhaust for our tC's. I think most of these have been custom jobs, but was wondering if anyone knows if one will go into production for our car. Trying to see if I just missed a post on this???

im pretty sure they are all custom, i try to stay ontop of new things comming out for the tC and im pretty sure that somebudy would have mentioned this had it been coming out for production.

Looks like I am going to have to pay a lot to go custom. Are there any other cars we can use their split exhaust fom and mount it on our tC? Out on a limb with this one

We do have those systems in production now, but still have not posted any pics yet. Our systems have a great low tone and still keep the rasp away with a header installed. :D

are there any performance issues with a dual exhaust on the tC???
i used to have a 98 civic with custom dual exhaust and it made it slooower it looks nice tho specially if you have a body kit

 

What is the performance benefit when used with an engine that has only one head?

This doesn't pass the common sense test, unless people just want if for cosmetic reasons...

You COULD get a 4 into 2 pipe header, then run the two pipes seperately to the back and, therefore, have only two cylinders pushing out exhaust per pipe.
