I've done countless searches but can't find anything neither here nor online,
Does anyone have a manual or instructions on how to replace the steering shaft. Toyota's stealership wants $400+ for this job because I'm not covered under warranty for that steering shaft TSB. I bought the shaft and want to replace it myself. I am mechanicaly inclined just want to make sure i do it correctly.

 

If you are mechanically inclined PLEASE have someone install it for you. You dont want to mess around with steering. Check some other local shops around you for a cheaper price if you already have the part. Bring the part with you for reference. Hope this helps.

it isnt as hard as it looks if u just get in there and do it make sure u have the right tools dont try to pry parts off use pullers meant for the job and always know exactly how stuff was lined up make alignment marks if need be
