Default Stock Spark Plugs vs. Aftermarket

So our cars come w/ Iridimun plugs already...

Is it worth buying for example the Bosch +4 Iridium plugs??

I am not boosted or S/C

Just Curious if it make a difference...

Thanks!

I've read that the Bosche Fusions are the best, but it's all splitting hairs.
They're rated for 100k miles, so no need to change them too soon.

yeah, you pretty much have the best spark plugs you can put in a car stock. and the reason why you would replace them for when the car is boosted would be because you need one or two steps colder than what the stock ones are. not because the stock ones aren't good enough.

dude... put it this way, you will never really notice a change in power with a plug change alone while you are stock. you may notice a slight change in how quick your car starts, but that is where it ends. when you are driving, no, you won't notice the proverbial increase in power in just changing your plugs... however... if you do ever boost, you will definitly want to go with colder plug to prevent detonation... other than that, just roll with stock, its not worth the money until it is time...

hey blizz this isnt meant as a slam on you, but their bar graph smells like bullsh*t. i could see these numbers possibly being close, if you calculated your imaginary competition on the low side of HP increase and the high side of dollar cost. i think that the internal combustion engine has been around a long time and spark plugs are about as good as they're gonna get..... just my opinion. hell i'm not even an engineer. i barely read popular mechanics.....

thsi comparison is not that bad at all.. look at the cat back system.. they are like $500-1000 ( depends on brand and for what car )

but for that money u gonna get what.. 5-10 hp???

for 3000 dollars ( turbo) whichi is like 3 times the cat back price but you gonna get 100+ hp!!! 10 times more than what the cat back give u...

nitro? "cheap" and another 40-50 hp...

i think this comparo is not a bs... its maybe not the hard truth but it is something..
