I've been looking/listening at Japanese axle backs on youtube but it really doesn't give much justice for me to get it.

So which exhaust here in SL has the real "sweet" sound? And I need it to be used later on with a stage1 GT turbo running only 6PSI.

I also got a question on which sound best with the "Ghetto Fabulous Intake III" with the TRD filter? (I'm not sure why but, the tC sound weaker than a Celica GT... I like that GT sound.)

 

for an axleback, the tone quality of the tanabe concept g is clean, and low, and very jdm, lol.....if you're going turbo, none of these will be efficient enough, since you should get bigger piping (2.5")

 

So rather than continue to listen to them and hear for yourself... you're asking what everyone else thinks you might like for exhaust?

If you want to go FI, you could get a Dezod Turbo Exhaust. A good NA exhaust is the Precision Muffler one.

 

Magnaflow resonators create the best exhaust tone, IMO.

 

i like the HKS because of the deep tone but it looks like a freakin rice rocket thats why i choose the Greddy Ti-C due to its size, its deep tone, the way its angled, and wont burn the bumper like how most exhaust applications are for the TC.

 

I love my Injen SES, realy deep growl, not ricey at all, and the slanted tip looks great and doesnt leave any burn marks. My friend has HKS, and he hates it he already ordered mine.

 

a buddy of mine has the megan drift spec and i love the way it sounds. kinda like a WRX.

 

I need an exhaust that I can listen to all day without my head aching when I drive on a zigzag road...

Also, where can I get the bumper burn protector for the tCs stock bumper?

i have a drift spec and it sounds sweet, i was at a car meet, and at the end of the show everyone was revvin, 90% of them had raspy exhaust but mine sounded purrrrfect!that was bfore, now i have a header, it still sounds great in the open, but if theres a wall on the right where the exhaust tone bounces, its a lil raspy...

so yea drift spec FTW!

 

I wanna hear the Megan D-Spec while driving and flooring it... (It's Top Gear material) LOL!

I checked out ARK Performance (I liked the sound when it's idle and revving), how well do the SL members like it here?

Sounds much deeper in RL and sounds amazing under load.

 

i just bought/installed greddy evo 2.. im loving it and it sounds great.. nice deep tone and not ricey at all

 

The 3 that aren't raspy are Concept G, Tsudo, and I have Magnaflow...

Yea, I'm not a big fan of Rasp, sounds too ricey.....and from what I've heard in person and online......IMO those three are my top choices :D
