Default tachometer

I want to order an aftermarket tachometer because they look good. But can you hook them up so they work and the tachometer on your light guage where the mph is still works. Like basically can i have 2 tachs that work thanks.

:sniff::sniff:: me too

Unless you're running so much power that it makes the stock tach either inefficient or obsolete, then it may look a little obnoxious (and funny)

To answer your question: yes they can both work at the same time.

I have an idea!

Have the stock tach go up to 0-8000rpm, and the second one go from 9000-17000rpm.

Ya, that'll be hot.

I'd probably do 3... 0-3000, 3000-6000, and 6000-9000. Then mount them all in a line directly above the current gauges... so when I rev, I get to watch them all move like a little chain of tachs.

Now THAT would be hot!
