Default Tanabe Concept G exhaust

Hey guys.

I just had a couple of questions about the Tanabe Concept G exhaust. For those of you that own this exhaust, how's the noise within the cabin? Is it loud? From the clips I've seen and heard on youtube, it seems to be louder than the TRD but not louder than say the HKS, Megan Catback, or Tsudo. If someone could inform me of this that would be great.

I'm looking for an exhaust that isn't too loud. So I'm leaning towards a TRD/Borla. But if the Tanabe G isn't that loud then I might go with this.

Thanks in advance! (I did use the search but could not find anything that solved my question.)

hey i just got my concept g about a week ago. i love it. im sure with stock exhaust with the tanabe axel back im sure it isnt too loud. louder than the trd but not that bad. i run the tanabe with header 2nd cat and 2 resonators with no rasp and its not that as loud as a catback but louder than just an axel back. i love it. i def recommend it. but i dont recommend the TRD. hated mine. i went from TRD to the concept g. best thing i ever did.

yeah, from what i've gathered, its definitely the quietest outside of the TRD, but the muffler is too small for me, i like the huge canister of the HKS

You can hold conversations in your car with people and not have the feeling of yelling over your exhaust. Plus, once you get going at a stable speed, the exhaust quiets down. The nice thing about the Tanabe is that there is hardly any drone at constant speed, such as on the freeway. I would definitely recommend the Concept G to you if you want a visibly aftermarket exhaust, but want the refined noise levels.

Its never loud enough to become irritating or a bother, but you will definitely appreciate the low even tone.

The fitment was exellent, no propblems with installation and the exhaust note is awesome, a low deep rumble, that never gets out of hand and with no raspiness or wierd pops. It fits perfectly in the cut out and looks awesome. the tip hangs out just a bit from the bumper and a at a slight angle. I was never a fan of the whole " angle out" thing and i love this, its tastefully done and doesnt scream arrest me. So far i havent noticed any cracks o discoloration of the bumper from heat so it wont have those problems either.
I got compliments on it later that week. Clearly a well built product.Oh, and it weighs about half of the stock monstrosity you will be removing.

Thanks guys for your responses. Ro Ja, that's exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to know if the noise of the exhaust is tolerable inside the car for example while driving on the highway. That definitely answered my question. As of right now the Tanabe is what I am decided on.

If there are any other owners of this product please feel free to chime in! Thanks again everyone!
