.. so i just got my 06 tc, and i need help! first thing: i have a ipodmini, i dunno if those dont work with the pioneers that tc comes with .. but if it does, heres the story.. i plugged in the ipod into the ipod plugin and it didnt seem to work/recognize my ipod.. i dunno why.. but i looked at the cdrom they gave me and.. it said i should get the latest "firmware" and if thats the case where can i update my ipod with this firmware thing..

 

It might help if you post in the right forum. This one is reserved for "horsepower" related issues. Try ICE and you might have better luck! Hell, I would even try the general forum before power hungry. Hope this tip helps!

 

www.apple.com is probably the best place to find updates for any of their products. But, I can't believe when you installed iTunes you didnt see all those pop-ups advertizing their website and all its apple goodness.

 

Dude, an iPod firmware upgrade is good for like 37 HP.

The issues might have nothing to do with your ipod, the guy that insalled the radio might not have done it right. If you get behind your deck there is a extra plug on the lower right if you dont feel anything pluged in take it to your dealer and get it fixed, or you might be able to just do it yourself its not all that hard.
