Default TC SC Update and Pics

FYI....Source: http://www.mcgeorgeparts.com/

The latest ETA Per TRD Is the end of APRIL we can only hope !!! , as of 4/5 . Still no pricing yet.

Supercharge your tC with a TRD centrifugal supercharger !

More spec's soon here is a little info .

TRD Tc centrifugal supercharger system allows for peak power targets to be achieved without overwhelming drivetrain components such as transmissions, driveshafts, clutches and rear axle

TRD uses a patented extended drive to couple the supercharger with a drive belt that is driven off the engine’s crankshaft. The centrifugal blower accelerates and compresses the air internally. The scroll collects the compressed air, accelerates it and forces it into the discharge tube, and then into the intake manifold. This compressed air is mixed with additional fuel (via sophisticated calibration), which results in higher power output.

The maintenance-free supercharger lubrication system uses engine oil that is pre-filtered and injected directly onto the drive gears. This type of lubrication has been proven to be the best, even under sustained boost conditions.

The system is covered by a TRD 5 year/60,000 mile warranty when installed by a Scion dealer and is emissions legal in all 50 states.

I have ordered a few parts from this website, and they appear to have a good relationship with TRD... So I would think that they would know more about the release of the SC than I would....

by the looks of the picture, it seems like a short ram intake would fit. is there still a need to put a SRI with a supercharger?

WOW thats great news, ive been looking for the supercharger forever! all ive seen is this spring. If thats true then thats about when i plan on getting my tc. does anyone have a good estimate of 1/4 mile? i was thinking high 14s low 15s that would be unreal for a brand new $18,000ish car. Happy Day!!!!

Maybe you can go through scion and have them install it so it doesnt void you warrenty, and maybe you could be able to finance it too.

With TTL and a SC your looking at $20,000 car at least.

The date is no longer April. They changed it to TBA because of emissions issues. Dont expect this for a while guys. FYI.
