Default tC test pipe?

Anyone know of an online site that has bolt on test pipes for the tC? A friend of mine has one on his RSX-s with Apexi exhaust and it's sick. Nice 1-2 foot yellow/blue flame shoots out his a** when shifting hard!

They don't make test pipes for the tC. You either need to buy a full exhaust, or you can get a ZPI mid-pipe + an S-pipe and you would be good to go.

Isnt that due to fuel being dumped into the exhaust and a spark thats attached at the end of the muffler so that when he accelerates, the gas+spark creates the flame...

Go buy a propane powered flame kit and you can get flames bigger than your friend's.

Well, he's got his set up so that there is such an extreme scavenging of exhaust gases that they still carry a bit of spark as they are excellerated through the exhaust pipes and when combined with the oxygen in the air, boom....they ignite once again.....

The old way was to use a copper wire and a spark plug and wire it into your tail pipe. My dad had this set up on his 72 Nova with a 383 stroker. It used to have a huge a** flame come out and it looked sick when he punched it.

I've got the full spipe and draxas 2.25 exhaust from header back. ....it pops a bit like a test pipe would, but doesn't spark...............oh well.......not worth getting one made so whatever.

Make your fuel rich with a piggy back of some sort, and you would shoot flames.

True. But then, that's too much money just for a flame. I'll wear that hawaiian shirt instead.

umm...you do know you would also gain HP right? Exhaust + A/F adjustment = Flame and Extra HP.

yes, and with the added HP there would also be a good chunk taken out of the gas mileage. Face it, if you have the adjustment in A/F, you're going to use that power more often. Gas mileage will decrease too much. I will be getting the CamCon around April of next year so that will be taken care of then. For the winter time I'll stick to my bolt on hp.

Yea, it would be like afterburners on a fighter jet.
