This feature does nothing without FI and even then, it's negligable. I would save the money and put it towards a new intake manifold IMO.

not looking for power, thats what the turbo and built motor are for... i got this just for the sound until the shop finish's my motor. in about 2 weeks the process will start and about a month or two later, everything in my engine bay will be replaced. i'm not worried about gaining power from a throttle body spacer hahahaa

as for where i got it... it's an AcePerformance TBS...

I would like to see a dyno, done again in a more control enviroment. Like, after warm ups, and after several runs with and without. Then I would mind on spending the money on this.

I honestly think its a great idea for methanol or nos but other then that - i really dont see it being a large enough benefit to get. But - like i said - if you want to get methanol ...that would be a great piece to drill into.

Well, I took the risk an bought one. I will post hp gains with this and hp gains for the NST underdriven pulley. We'll see how it goes. All for the benefit of knowing what parts work.

Well guys I at least got the baseline numbers for tonight, I went but only had time to do the baseline dynos for tonight, cause it was kind of late, and they had in line for tuning a circuit car from the Dominican Republic. Baseline dyno was.....

159whp/ around...161wtq.

In another dyno at the north of the island I first went I got 160whp and 162wtq. And now at the south of the island I got lower numbers, and this was even after the NST pulley. So I can't really compare for the pulley since I saw no change whatsoever. So tomorrow I will install the throttle body spacer and go again to the dyno to see if I had any change.

Well Dyno Slip without the pulley and with the pulley, which we can't compare. Why? I can tell u why, a lot of factors like:

Humidity Factor- we have a difference of 26% of humidity
Raining in the way to the dyno- wheel may slip on the roll.
Sea Level? I'm not sure about this
This is a whole different dyno. So a Baseline in different dynos are whole different baselines.

Now for pics.

Dyno at the north of PR: Sept 30

Todays Baseline Dyno: Nov 27

Do not pay attention to that torque, since the dyno's manager didn't place the torque point where it was suppose to be. At the highest point of the torque line.

Is that with the throttle body spacer and the pulley, or just the throttle body spacer?

just the pulley, as I stated before, I could do the one with the spacer because of time, but tomorrow I will do the one with the spacer.

Guys, I got the dyno and the results are in. I wasn't surprised a lot by the results. I kanda expected them.

Baseline is:
158.53whp / 161.47wtq.

TBS Dyno Run:
153.15whp/ 159.08

Well no surprise here, and I hipe u guys now see the thruth about this part. I do not recommend it to anyone. I did 4 runs before and 4 runs after. I let before any run some time to let the car cool off. It was around 5 minutes between runs and coolant temp was around 185*F. Humidity today was favorable with a 42%. All dynos were with a STD Smoothing Factor of 3. Enough to show real gains.

We losed a whole 5whp with this part. and lost 2wtq. points. Guess now we are pretty sure about this.
