ive just put my dc sports exhaust on my tc...
and there is white smoke and bad smell comming form the exhaust.....its a little loud too...
these are all normal things right????
the smoke and smell will go away right?
and the noise will quiet a little right???

I don't think the exhaust would have anything to do with you being crazy or not...

Is the exhaust an axle back or a full exhaust CAT back removing the S pipe as well?

 

The DC Sports exhaust is an axle-back. Probably just the muffler breaking it.

 

I have never heard of a new muffler smoking and smelling weird when it breaks in. I have heard of the tone changing a little bit but thats about it. BTW is it white smoke with a blue tinge to it?

 

I just got my exhaust installed on Friday (rear-section only) and it was putting off a smell all weekend when I'd go to the higher RPMs, but it doesn't anymore. So I think there is a break-in period.

 

theres a coating on the exhaust normally but it should leave within a day or so

 

Get on the highway and let her rip for a couple of days. Hopefully its normal and will go away.

Smell is normal, stinks real bad for a couple days, smoke should be gone within a couple days, and it loud because its a performance exhaust, did you think it would be quiet

teh white smoke will disappear all in due time

and some times if your engine isnt warm, white smoke comes out too.

white is better than black. isnt black meaning ur burning oil?

and its an aftermarket exhaust. its FOR SURE gonna be louder than stock. dude dont trip ur fine

 

Blue smoke denotes burning oil.

 

blue or white is burning oil (or turbo failure but obviously not the issue here)
