Default Are these short shifters too good too be true??

Just wondering if these are the same in performance as the more expensive type. Also do the 06 fit the 08 tC?

i got the first one and it fits good and works just fine and i just installed my buddies knock off one also. so all in all they should do fine. now i am going to start seeing people on here bagging on me for have a knock off and not some name brand but hey when you have little cash and cant afford the goods you get what you can.

how much is professional installation on short shifters anyways? I'm looking for a good quality one.

rules for modding your scion tc:

1. you get what you paid for.
2. there are NO JDM parts for the tc.

first time took me about 5 hours of yelling and screaming and saying a few f bombs. second one took about 45mins or so. like i said it maybe cheap but when you have a family to support you spend what you can.

I'm not concerned with what it's called. I just want to know if it is going to break off in my hand when going through hard, fast shifts.
It's a metal rod with some ***** attached. I don't think name brand are that big of a deal.

So is the 06 shifter compatible with the 08??

i have to cc short shifter.. but if knew about dr i i would have gotten that one... but if you're tight on cash.. i believe his would be the best way to go..
