Default thinking of gettin meagn racing headers

if i get headers will that make it sound raspy ?

aftermarket headers make the tc sound raspy if they are combined with some kind of after market exhaust. to remedy it, you have to get some resonators put on your mid-pipe.

well i have a meagn racing mid pipe and s- pipe with a greddy evo 2 exhaust so you saying i have to get a resonator put in my mid pipe

correct depending on the size, you might need one or two.

Yeah you will need to get resonators welded onto your mid pipe. They will eliminate the rasp. You will also have to do the antifouler trip or a cel eliminator because a aftermarket header will throw a cel. Or you can get a high flow cat welded on and that should eliminate the cel. You will love the power you get but, if you live in a cold climate with snow, the salt and cold temps will cause the header to rust up a little bit. Just some fyi for ya.

GET two of the 7 inch round and 14 inch long one and you gonna be good to go... i have one 22 inch i think its 5 inch round and its not that good.. so get two!

i heard with the megan headers that it may take up to 3 foulers to clear the CEL and some people still have a problem with CEL.....I was also looking to getting headers i have the megan drift spec exhaust and on the midpipe it has a 14'' resonator, i was looking to go MMW how much rasp would that create

all headers make you sound the same. its not having a header really..its the absence of the stock cat.

i have the megan header and s pipe. its hard getting an exhaust that sounds good and isnt stupid loud but i got the megan midpipe a few weeks ago and put a magnaflow muffler for the axle back and it sounds good and isnt too loud.

the resonator on the megan mid pipe is not enough...

u need two of that at least.....

and yes.. with the megan headers u need 3 foulers!!! with two the CEL will come back if u do high speed.. ( above 90mph)
