Default throttle body problems

I've been hearing this noise for about a month now. I have a 5spd and when i take me foot of the gass to decelerate, i hear a constant clinging noise. It gose away if i push the clutch in. I thought the intake piping or mounting brackets were loose somewhere but everything was tight. Well i took off all the pipeing to see what was up. I see that the tc uses the electric throttle body not a cable. The butterfly valve isnt staying closed all the way. they'res some "play" in it. when i push it all the way closed with my fingers i hear it cling, is i figured thats my problem.

1)the butterfly valve needs to be tighted or readjusted?
2)throttle body motor is bad?
3)idle or tb sensor is bad?

i found this out yesterday and with it being memoral day today i havnt had a chance to take it to the dealer. just wondering if anyone has had this problem also??

I have have a 07 tc with 14k miles. Pretty new still

1st if you think that you have a problem take it to the dealer and let them look at it should be covered anyway. 2nd if you press the clutch and the noise goes away then I don't think it has anything to do with your tb. 3rd when you said the tb doesn't close did you look at this with the car on or off? The tC's electric throttle body will stay open while the car is running even at idle, and will only close when the engine is off.
