im going to be replacing my main bearings and rod bearings, but i was just wondering if it was nessicary to change the trust washers aswell. im not looking to spend an extra 60 bucks

Definitely. And no reason to go to the expense and trouble of tearing it down without replacing those anyway. I would also replace the clutch if it has over 50k on i and the throwout bearing. A clutch should last way past 50,000 miles, but if you already have the engine out and apart and you have that many miles on it, you may as well do it. Beats going through all the trouble later when it does wear out.

engine is still scattered across my garage and half of the parts arent ordered yet. but it does make good time to build her better
