if you're talking about the 10-12%/15% increase in HP... i can see that as overrated. other than that... nothing special. it's just a muffler with a tip.

 

I call BS on that. Thats a huge gain without changing anything but the muffler so it still has all the stock exhaust pipe restrictions. Get a whole cat back exhaust more money but probably more worth it.

 

unless you're planning on F/I... a catback would be too much.. my friend lost abit of low end because he has a full setup (headers - exhaust)

Talk about preying on the uneducated.

 

The tip is just a gimmick. Trust me I ran around with a tip and finally broke down bought an exhaust and man what a difference. Huge! I love my exhaust the sound is perfect and the performance was(minor but still) noticeable.
