Default Topic moved to mod forum and why, "first of many turbo

I moved this thread to the moderator lounge due to name calling and worse yet, posting a members personal finacial woes, that info does not need to be posted on a public forum.

It is one thing for a member to state what happened finacially to them or if said member screwed over companies/members here due to their situation but this was uncalled for.

Just trying to keep things from turning into an out of control ____ing contest as that will eventually lead to a major degradation of the whole forum over time, something we do not need.

There are plenty of other forums where you can have all the fun you want to play that way;)

Continued behavior of this sort will be dealt with at the next higher level, this is just a warning.

If you want to start the thread over and keep things under control by all means do so.

I appreciate you stepping in. As I too like to keep things professional. I was trying my absolute best not to come off as flaming or threating. And If I did somewhat, I apologize. I was only merely trying to point out that people are not having a problem. Wether or not they have a problem down the road is to be seen. I don't believe we have any fortune tellers on this board..lol. The guy installed the kit himself. Now I'm not doubting his mechanical skills at all. It's just there is a possibility that he didn't tighten something up, didn't hook something up right...etc... There is no reason to start flaming the quality of a product when USER Error is a factor in the equation.

Bottom line, the guy needs to contact ZPI, and go through the check-points to find a solution to his problem. However, as he said, he has a lot on his plate right now.

I only saw two people calling names, I've seen a lot worse in other threads. As for the financial thing, I agree that was out of hand but can't that be read about in any local newspaper?

I talked with Kenny about this whole issue in depth. It is probable the seals went on the turbo. Not the first time and certainly won't be the last one on a turbocharger. They have been using this line setup on other makes/models pushing much more oil pressure with no problems on the 16G seals.

Above and beyond that, Kenny told me the turbos come with a 1 year warranty and he would replace it. But, wowguytc needs to follow up and arrange it with them. Any other speculation on our part is not right.

ZPI is a stand up company and obviously will do whatever it takes to make it right.

No one can fault a company like that. In fact, THAT is the company I want to do business with.

^^^^do gotta agree pretty funny sciondad
Now, for those who know me, I have no enemies on this board, as I like to be as helpful as possible to everyone. Regardless of this guy chokin his turbo up has nothing to do with why I am so addamant about the whole fuel management. It obviously was not the reason due to failure. So on that note, for all you guys who seem to think Im hating on you guys, email me w/ your paypal addy and I will send you a dollar to buy you guys a beer
As I said before, I hope everyone has nothing but good luck with their kits and dyltone...once I get my tC I will be more than happy to see you on a track

Just because it does not get caught or dealt with in another thread does not mean it is ok, I personally do not have the time to read them all but if I do find it, I will deal with it.

As for finding it in the newspaper, then do so;)

If you do not agree with how I treat the job of moderation then you are most welcome to take that up with admin or the other mods, if they want me to change, I will

i did not see what was said or what happened after my last post but for the info i did talk to zpi and told me what to check on and will be doing so this saturday. I dont know who was talking bad about someones financial problems, dont know if yall were referring to me althoughi dont remember saying anything about that, my only problem was time. i have a lot of things to do and school always comes first before turbo problems. anyways, maybe the problem could be a mechanical error, it happens. i dont think my personal mechanical skills are very high, but i trust in my father and have plenty of turbo friends that help me out alot. so the help is there, and will let people know how things go when things start going.
