Tranny fluid, what kind?

Hey guys, just wondering what kind of tranny fluid you guys use and how much of it do you use.

Redline baby. Ordered my Redline MT-90. Should be here tomorrow.

Only problem is you can't just waltz into most stores and buy it. But their site has a list of dealers.

Redline, Motul and Royal Purple are all very good. Can't go wrong with either of those brands. I use Royal Purple for my car.

royal purple, they were out of MT-90 when I went to the store, big improvement. Quantity....whatever the owners manual recommended -can't recall.

I think it's beneficial to both auto and manual. In your case, you'd want to look for ATF = Automatic Transmission Fluid.

MT, if you haven't guessed = Manual Transmission. Key word is synthetic.

which one of the royal purple gear oil?

I'm going to buy the Royal Purple tranny oil, but i'm wondering which one? Is it the "SYNCHROMAX" or "Max-Gear Synthetic Gear Oil. I have a manual 5sd Scion TC. Help which one?
