Default Trans Grind.

Hey guys the tC is my first manual car and I love it I just got it so im not used to it's shifting system. I didi drive manuals quite alot before but each is different and I find the tC the hardest to drive. There have been often times when I am going into gear and the damn clutch is not engaged enought and it will grind. Is this causing alot of damage? I also have a hard time getting into first and sometimes reverse.

reverse requires you to step down all the way to be smooth! ALso, it's not a good idea to be moving forward and then forcing it into reverse.
