Default Trans temperature sensor

I have an 06 TC auto trans. I was wondering if anyone knew where the temperature sensor is? Do I access it fom the engine bay or is do I have to jack up the car and it should be right there? Any help is great. I did search but found nothing... maybe I worded it wrong. Thanks for your help

There should be a trans temp sensor. If you were to remove the air filter assembly you should have access to it. I am not 100% sure where the sensor is but most times you can access everything from the top.

I know we should have one. I am going to call a toyota shop or maybe ptuning can help me. I figured if I am laying under the car it should be on the side of the transmission or at least get to it from the engine bay. I am going to do some more research. i will post up when I found out.
