There's only one version. If you heard cars with aftermarket midpipes then that's why theirs are louder.

Wouldnt An After Market MId Pipe Be The Same As Taking It To A Muffler Shop And Having Them Weld On A Pipe From The Cat Back To The Exhaust

Not exactly, some midpipes have resonators. And length, position, and number of resonators matters.

Standard TRD Axle-back isn't loud.....add a aftermarket midpipe which takes out the cat,and increases the diameter of the piping will make it loud which is 2.5..on the 1 Gens, its called a S-pipe exhaust...
unless you have a custom midpipe made, where they cut off from behind the cat and weld a bigger diameter piping to your spec to the rear axle back..most scions...have a S-pipe exhaust 2.5 with a resonator
unless you add a high flow cat or other sound dampening parts...that's all....you get a S-pipe also...I'll make it little deeper sounding exhaust.

If you actually go to the youtube link of the video and read the description then you'll know why the exhaust note sounds louder...
