Default TRD Cat-back exhaust

I just got my 08 tC a couple months back and I want to get the TRD cat-back exhaust. Unfortunately, the scion website lists only the axel-back exhaust. Do you guys know if they're gonna release the TRD cat-back exhaust soon if I wait? Or would you guys recommend an exhaust from another company. I wanted the TRD because it doesn't void the warranty and it's not too loud. Thanks

I thought since TRD exhaust is a dealership installation, it wouldn't void the warranty. So basically I can get any exhaust. Alright, what I wanted to ask was which exhaust do you guys recommend that's not super loud, that's got a deep sound.

trd parts will not void the warranty. Aftermarket mods won't either unless it can be proven that exact part was the reason for the problem... Also don't know about a TRD catback system. Pretty sure there is only an axelback...

I dont think they will release catbacks, if they will it sucks coz it has to come with a secondary cat (regulations/emissions and stuff) that defeats the purpose.

well if TRD were to release a full cat, im sure they would slap a nice ol 1000 dollar price tag on it. TRD is ridiculously priced and really not all the much better than anything else in my opinion. I want to get the TRD axleback but i have a hard time forkin 400 bucks over for something that doesnt even result in any gains...

OK, so I'm gonna have to give up on the TRD cat backs. Which one should I go with for a nice deep sounding cat-back exhaust, that's not super loud?

how much do you wanna spend? choices are dezod, ptuning, ark dts, magnaflow are few.. tsudo n1 and megan might be too loud unless you add a resonator.. You can also get a full custom catback or a custom midpipe (local muffler shop) and get the axleback of choice

Not sure. Maybe around $400~$500. I like the look of the Injen exhausts.

for a cat back you dont need a aftermarket s pipe, downpipes are on turboed cars.
Cat backs include the mid pipe.
If you don't like the angeld look, I'd say get the Magnaflow, Straight out tip thats not too big, full cat back, and isnt that loud but has that nice tone to it. Youtube has a few clips:

I'd go with the Megan Racing cat-backs, they have two of them and it is a bolt on system that sounds very nice, a nice low growl and not too loud. i have the OE-RS on my tc and love it. great price!

the OE-RS is very similar to stock styling which many like, while the Drift Spec style looks like the average import canister.

just dont get an axle-back. waste of money....

Sorry but they only make you think that, they cannot void your warranty unless they can actually prove that the aftermarket component caused a problem. They only tell you it voids it because they can get away with it, since 95% of the population falls for those scare tactics.

the cat. is integrated with the midsection pipe. so the trd can be labeled as a cat-back or axle back exhaust.
