Default TRD exhaust

Hey scionlife, whats up?
I was hoping you guys could help me out with my decision on getting a TRD exhaust. My twain main concerns would be sound and installation. Will the sound be different for a manual, compared to a automatic since I have a 2007 BSP automatic.

Lastly, is there any DIY for installing the exhaust? I have never really worked on a car before so I have little experience in this area. I have tryed searching but most people said it was easy, they did not give a DIY.

thats because there is really no need for a diy, it is just 2 bolts and 3 hangers. All you do unbolt the the exhaust and then take it off the rubber hangers. Using some wd40 helps with getting the hangers off.

There is no noticeable difference in sound between a manual and auto.

Get the rear of the car up on jacks or ramps. Put some grease or motor oil on the hangers so they slide out easier. THe oem exhaust comes out in one piece.

Then you'll want to assemble the TRD exhaust together ( I think it comes in 3 sections ) before you put it on the car. You may have to lay the TRD exhaust on your chest while you're under the car installing it.

There's not much to it. maybe 1 hour of work.

Good luck

There is a pause between shifting when used on a manual. there isnt a pause with the automatic. Sounds kinda weird when i hear an auto tc with the trd exhaust.
