yeah a friend and i are just gonna install the trd clutch and fidanza flywheel i have on our own, and remove the tranny while we're at it, take it to the dealership, have them install the lsd, and we insert the tranny again. save a boatload of cash.

Depends on the dealer and their expertise... They will all quote you different.. I think I've heard it's a 4-6 hour install. Your best bet would be contacting Ken or Josh at TRDSPARKS.COM and ask them what they think. You may be able to find labor cheaper at a reputable performance shop in your area, but at least it will be warrantied via Scion if you have them install it.
I guess if I read first - I would have known the answer.

R&R the tranny, install the diff, wait on shims from California,

I have about 8 hours into the Quaife/TRD I'm installing for a board member.

I'm in Cincinnati, will welcome more installs, you have to R&R the tranny.

Well since they are in the same area im not getting charged for a full clutch install then a full lsd install. The dealer I go to doesnt rip me off .... I drive over an hour to go there just so they get my business. All the BS warranty stuff I get done locally at another dealer.

This should be standard equipment. Any FWD car with decent HP and torque needs an LSD.
