Default TRD SC boost gauge vacuum line location

I had a cheapy leftover boost gauge from my SC'd matrix and finally got a minute to hook it up to the tC. I'm not putting it in permanently, so the inside mount does not matter. What matters is where should it get tapped into.

Here's were I tapped it in so far:

Unplugged the black hose in the picture, added a short piece of vacuum hose to the existing T and put my T in there. routed the vacuum line through the grommet in the firewall inside the car.

Started the car - got vacuum reading (about 20psi). Which is I think normal. Gave it a little gas - vacuum went down to about 10psi, no boost, which I think is also normal.

Went to work this morning - got only 5psi at WOT, and it shows vacuum up until about 4500, plus the car has to be accelerating to get boost, otherwise you can be at 6K with your foot off the gas, or not at WOT and you will see vacuum.

Any input?

That's a nice power gain for only 5psi if that is indeed correct. It's nice to know that the supercharger wil make the same hp numbers as the turbo kits out there if the boost was at 7spi

That sounds about right, thought I wonder if the guage is correct. Does it need to be recalibrated?
