does anyone know if the trd exhaust is the same as the borla kit. does it sound different?
does it hang down as much as the trd?

 

i dont know the answer to that question buti do know that the trd adds one hp so if you are looking for any kinda perfomance mod then dont pick TRD. you can get the borla with an Spipe and get more hp.

 

well, I dont, but im hoping you get good feed back about the Borla. Thats what I want to get.

In my opinion , the borla sounds maybe a bit deeper than the TRD exhaust but it's really the same thing.

looks from the pics on the borla site that the piping is bent differently. draxas sounds good but not too psyched about the 4" tip, trd/borla looks like it fits the opening better

Like i said up earlier, i hope to recieve my digital camera tommorow so i can record a clip of the exhaust for you guys tommorow night. Hopefully if things run smooth, the vid should be up tommorow night or friday morning.

the trd one is 2 expensive...i was going to go with the greddy evo2 exhaust for mine...but thats my opinion

I have a custom 2.5'" exhaust, its just a borla muffler and 2.5" piping, stock tip and the stock resonator. I had the guy cut the cat off and make the piping from the s-pipe back. Sounds just like the borla video and it looks stock so you dont get crap from cops. Yes I know you need a cat for smog, but I'm going turbo and dont care. Total cost of my custom exaust $200 at a local muffler shop.
