Default trying to figure out what exhaust to buy with my turbo

so far I am looking into either ARK N2 or megan driftspec.

quick question.

does the megan drift spec have the capability to angle up as well as out?

I found out u cant do that with ark so I am just curious about megan...

also to you megan owners? how do you like it? how does the exhaust take to an aftermarket header? mucho rasp?

Search my friend....

I would suggest going 3 inch and going with either P-Tuning or Dezod. Just makes sense for your turbo setup. The megan is 2.5. I have the full exhaust from the header all the way to the drift spec and it's loud... especially with the header...

can you get the exhaust to angle up a bit like a subi exhaust or does it only angle sideways flat out?

if any exhaust was able to angle up on our cars it would probably scrape pavement. subies have a higher rear end, thus allowing for the angle up.

you get NO rasp with a turbo.. and Andy, pick up my midpipe when you get the turbo.. and you should be good to go with a tune! just so you get rid of all those resonators when you go turbo..

drift spec isnt 2.5, its smaller, dont get that cause it'll rob youo of a lot of power. get 2.5 minimum.

the Drift Spec Exhaust system IS 2.5" with the exception of the inlet flange that connects to the S-Pipe.

ive seen this argument before and it settled when someone said the outter diameter is 2.5" but the inside diameter is 2.25 of the megan. just what i saw.

I HAD the Megan Racing Drift-Spec exhaust with my Greddy turbo kit. There won't be any rasp as long as you keep fixing the leaks! That exhaust fit together as well as a feather sticks to a cloud! You will end up getting a metal pinging sound through the exhaust with the leaks.

Get the PTUNING exhaust. 3" with V-band clamps to eliminate leaks and a central mounted muffler for weight distribution. Look it up on YouTube for some sound clips!

The thing is guys is I have NEVER liked the OEM look when it comes to exhaust. Not on any car I have ever looked at. I have always been a fanof big agressive looking canister exhausts.
