Tsudo N1 Catback Installed
im trying to install my tsudo n1 tonight but i ran into a problem. did your exhaust come with bolts for the the canister/second midpipe connection? im assuming you had to use the spring bolts but the nut from the stock exhaust is welding on.
here is what im talking about:

here is the pic of the tsudo n1. the connection circled in yellow did not come with bolts, so i was assuming that i had to reuse the spring loaded nuts and bolts.

here is the OEM exhaust. the thing boxed is the portion i am referring to. below is a close up.

right here where i am having problems with. the red circles are the nuts that are spot welded onto the OEM exhaust. i need those for the spring loaded bolts (circled in green).
can you help me out. what should i do??!! i'm running an open s-pipe which sounds cool cuz my car sounds like a true muscle car, but it attracts cops.

use the bolt and nuts that it came with, where the stock spipe connects to the new midpipe, use the stock bolts to connect it togther and use the bolt and nut that was originally on the new midpipe for the rear.

take out that top piece of the silencer.

then in the middle, there should be a small part of the pipe inside the silencer that is sticking out. use a vice grip to clamp down on the pipe.

then take and second set of plyers or vice grips and clamp it down on the handle of the first vice grip you placed on the pipe. then take a hammer and just hammer it out.
I also have this exhaust and love it, fitment is very good but it does sit very high against the bumper.. easy fix with a slightly longer rubber exhaust hanger, gains are also noticable over the hks hi-power on a otherwise stock N/A tc, two thumbs up!

best bang for the buck if you ask me

the car would have to retain the cat... which in our case is the second cat, our primary cat is built into the header. the tsudo "catback" accualy eliminates the second cat and connects directly to the s-pipe itself.
yup.. a true catback would be any of the ARK exhaust or the magnaflow.
basically you cut the stock midpipe right behind the cat and you clamp on teh new one.
who wants to cut up their stock parts tho?
