$646 for the unit (following GR's MAP policy as we are a direct GR dealer), $300 for a PNP harness = $946 (not counting shipping). Am I missing something?

Closed loop control for N/A is ok. Forget about it for S/C or turbo. The unit does not have enough control for anything more than N/A by itself and quite frankly is struggles even with that on this engine with this current based WB O2.

The 2AZ runs VERY well N/A with a mid-range AFR (in closed loop) of about 12.7:1 @ 2100 RPMS and 70kpa. This is the teetering point of open loop to closed loop. The APR does this AFR seemlessly and I can even toss in a degree or two of advanced timing to make her really jump up. With the EMU, it does not come out as crisp nor clean. (I have tried it)

I've tuned N/A on tCs with E-manage, Ultimate and APR. Hands down, the APR had the best feel (better than stock), more stable, more predictable, more consistent and overall more power and control. So yes, I am biased based upon experience. I have tuned PLENTY of different engine managements, and I know what works and what doesn't. Therefore, my opinions are professional and based off of my experience. I am not trying to come off like an ****, but it is, what it is.

i got emu and harness for under $800 new. i will agree if getting into the block or head to change stock settings, then your unit would be best for a serious build and driveability
