I was driving around in the MB area and saw a black TC pass me by. It seemed rather quick for a TC, forgive my ignorance (new here) but are there a lot of FI TC's around?

 

Unless he's got some loot to do a custom job or sponsored (any brand decal's?) with a prototype, then it's doubtful it was FI. Looks like Scionspeed is gonna be the first on the block with a turbo kit and it will be shipped later this month. He probably just stomped it. How fast were you going?

 

No decals, it had to have been private or prototype if it was in fact FI.

We were in light traffic. He was behind me, then he zoomed by on my left.

Maybe it was just perception, could have been stock!

Then again he might also have done a full intake/exhaust (header to muffler) job with a bored TB, polished head, lightened flywheel and aftermarket clutch. The performance gains from all that would be pretty noticable.
