If you are selling it to some teenager most likely he'll want you to keep it on. But if you're selling it to anyone else then I would change everything back to stock. That's what im planning to do.

Again, good point. I just don't know that I would deal with going through ALL of that though. Imagaine taking off the springs, shifter, sway bars, etc.....I don't think so. lol

What have you all done / recommend?

Ya I was just giving you my opinion cause I want the most out of the car when I sell it. Most people sell their stock stuff after putting in aftermarket parts in to get a little bit of money for their next mod. But whatever floats your boat. LOL

What did the rest of you do? Did you send in your stock shifter for the refund or hold onto it?

I will be holding onto mine, as I am also holding on to my stock intake, exhaust and sway bar. It's worth nearly nothing now, but could be useful when the time comes to sell the car. Aftermarket parts will be worth more in the future, compared with stock ones now.

the way I see it is I am not going to be getting rid of my ride for a long time, so if I can make some money on my stock parts then why not do it, could always use the money for something else for the car... and besides, what grandma do you know is going to buy your tC? Like someone stated earlier anyone interested in a tC wouldn't mind the aftermarket parts on it.. and may get you some more money reselling the car

Thats true too. I can't really afford it if i'm not gonna send the stocker back, but i don't know that its worth losing it for $20 after shipping. It sounds like a great shifter though....

Anyone else save it or send it back (or have an opinion on the matter)?

MOST Shifter Cable Bushings are made of metal. But Doc's are made of Derlin A.K.A. Hard poly-plastic. Trust the white ones are the shifter cage bushings...I just wonder why you have 4 shifter cable bushings when there's only enough for two. I could be wrong?? I got the plus package. Cuz I got the TWM Performance Shifter Cable Bushings. :D

The bushings fit like a clamshell, 2 bushings per cable end.

The other way. Pop one into the cable end from the top, and one from the bottom.

yeah man thats correct, use some type of grease to get them in easier, preferibly a poly friendly blend. They fit in the linkage end very tightly.
