Two questions!!
1. Way too much...around 10 grand total for all the adjustments and labor charges
2. Depends on you...in short Turbo = more power possibilities and shorter engine life
S/C = some power and slightly longer than turbo engine life

1. Like others said, too much to spend on the tC unless you want to be unique
2. Depends on what your after. Just a nice bump in power with a warranty then S/C. If your looking for more power, more choices and different brands, and etc. then turbo it. And unless the 07 model S/C was changed a good bit, you may lose your motor
atleast a few on here have.
Just read up on some of the choices, there's hundreds, if not thousands of threads like this on here so you can just see what others brought up to the table and what they chose and why.

1. as other said above, this has been thrown around some and pretty much agreed that it wouldn't be worth it
2. that question has been around for a while, to me it comes down more to personal preference, both would give you plenty of power if tuned properly, they would have different power delivery though, and a couple other differences, but you can make good power with either one

an import mag(cant remember wich) featured an AWD 7th gen celica(last model available). The parts were taken from an AWD corolla available in japan, it was an awesome car, but well over 10 grand, and most of the work was done by himself. If you think about it, it wouldnt be hard to stick a driveshaft through our exhaust chamber, now the rest would definitely be PITA!!!
