Default the ULTIMATE compliment..

so im driving home from work and a guy in yellow Porche Carrera S4 pulls up to me at the light and he said somthing to me. but my music was kinda loud so i hit the mute button. i asked him to repeat what he said and he told me "Your exhaust sounds nice man." i was in utter disbelief hearing this from a guy driving a 100k car. ive got the ZPI s pipe and exhaust and injen intake + Unichip. lol go figure

Some people just appreciate cars in general, and the work that goes into it.

I helped a Kia install a CAI the other day. Nice guy, but definitley not fast. He thought my car was the fastest thing on the road after a little test run.

Hopefully he wasn't poking fun at you instead of complimenting. That sounds like something i'd say to a Civic driver with a bumble bee exhaust.

Granted, the tC sounds a lot better than "most" Hondas in the exhaust area due to displacement. I haven't heard a exhaust equipped tC in person, yet.. but from the exhaust soundclip/video thread, the nicest, aggressive one I heard was the Magnaflow. Too bad I can't stand the way any aftermarket exhaust looks on the tC.

nah like i said, the guy was pretty cool we were talking for a bit at the light, there was nobody behind. though i got the impression it may have been DADDYS car since he looked rather young, maybe 24ish and he mentioned a friend had a boosted tC.
