umnitza and redline hoodlift
anyone know if u can still use the redline hoodlift thing when u have the umnitza intake installed? i ran into problems when i installed the weapon r cold air box. the hood wouldn't shut, and even moving the hoodlift to the pass side wasn't that great-the hood still didn't close all the way, although it was much better than on the side the cold air box was. on the cold air box side, the hood wouldn't even latch on and close at all. just got a hoodlift for the new tc, but i'm also trying to figure out if i should get the umnitza intake-since that's the only one that'll work with the SC.

I had to remove the hood lift because the hood wouldn't close with the umnitza intake. I have since put it back , because I am running a custom cold air intake system on my car. Let me know the next time you are gonna be out by Vito's dealership. If I'm in NY I will goto the dealership and show it to you.

Can't be too hard to fabricate to work though, can it? Convert it to Short-Ram and cut the piping to fit? I got to run a SC just to try this... too bad it costs a couple bucks.

I wonder though.... better airflow for sure.... may change the A/F a bit possibly.... I'd like to see some guys try this... I'd do it if I didn't have three other projects currently in progress...
I can't imagine it hurting anything... The physics of it are pretty sound.
Someone hook me up with a SC.... I'll give it a shot and see what I can do.... I'd love to change all the piping to match the CAI..... and polish/chrome the SC like I've seen online... beautiful.

Dead thread resurrection in 3... 2... 1...
Alright, so I got the quicklift, but I haven't installed it yet. I'm getting a s/c, and I already have the Injen CAI.
1. How easy would it be to fab the Injen to work with the s/c?
1a. Is it worth it?
2. If I got the Umnitza intake, what can I do to make the intake and the quicklift work together?
