dude i hope your not trying to use that graph as a tc dyno graph cosidering that the tc stock is only 160 hp and about the same for tq. other than that the unichip look's pretty cool.

This has been out for a while, as far as I understand it.

It's a several-hundred-dollar unit, and probably not tC specific.

any EMS system is pricey. my RSX's Hondata KPro costed $1G. well damn worth it too.

happyskippy, the closest thing it can control smog is turning off the CEL or OBD2. but doesnt mean u'll pass cuz the readiness codes in the ECU arent set.

i'm still waiting to hear of its features.

It is plug and play, look at the unichip website, it cost around $850.

Turbonetics kit comes with this as well.

The Dyno provided is from Unichip themselves, I believe they correct their numbers to show Flywhell HP before and after..

The UNI-Chip is the same unit used by APS in their high output TT kits for the 350Z and C6 vette, and has performed flawlessly..
The UNI-Chip cost around $800-900 but it is all plug and play specific for the vehicle they have plug n play applications for, such as the TC.This means there is not extra labor of splicing wires in your ECU harness, which I do not suggest doing anyway.
The UNI-Chip can control A/F and Timing as well as additional injectors, relays, swithches(Nitrous, intercooler sprayors, water injection ect). Wit the addition of a MAP sensor the Uni-Chip can be used to map boost dependant maps also for Turbo charged car.The tunning needs to be done on a true load based dyno to really get a good tune on all loadpoints. UNI-chip currently has 2 maps for the TC and is always updating their libraries..If we get an exact pricing on this unit, and members show interest we will offer a killer deal on it to Scion life members!!I will check pricing and what we can offer, but who would be interested in complete control over their engine??

its highly recommended to get an EMS if you are going to boost..

reason im looking into this is because when i get my s/c i want to safely increase the boost with one of the pulley's already out there.

We do not charge installation on the plug and play harness.Tunning runs $150 per hour of dyno time..

to answer some other questions, it is a piggyback unit that is easier to install than the Emanage and simply plugs inline in between the stock ECM. To make it usable for a boosted application you will however need to add the unichip MAP sensor for an additional $120. There is also an upgraded version that works off of blue tooth technology and can be tuned via a palm pilot!!From outside the car!!Wireless!
