V6 tC?
Whats up guys?.... im new to the scion forum, but i was thinking that since someone over at the nissan forums droped a 3.5 FWD V6 from a Maxima/Altima in to a Sentra SE-R why not do the same in to a tC???...
The Altima comes in I4 2.5 or V6 3.5 motors.. if the 2.5 I4 in the Altima is the same as the Sentra wht not try putting a V6 3.5 VQ35 motor in it right.

The Camry also comes in a 4 banger or V6. that same I4 thats in the tC right now is outta the Camry as some of you know... so why not take something from the Nissan guys and try putting the Camry's/ Lexus ES 3.5 V6 2GR-FE FWD drivetrain in to a tC and get a sick ride.
just an idea to play around with...

my guess is that you end up with a ton of work and money for a very nose heavy poor handling car. better to lighten the car or work with the 2.4. anything is possible with time and money though so i dont doubt that it could be done.
It's been discussed at length here many, many, many times. Just do a search for "engine swap" and you'll find plenty of topics like this one:
