vanished check engine light.
Well we all know how annoying it is to have a check engine light in a new car. Not to long ago i installed a prototype header by hp racing (works great by the way) and a couple of days i got a check engine light. So i posted it on SL and got the antifouler solution for it. It worked for 2 days and came on again. Well one day i was just frustrated with trying to dodge all the little nice floods we get from mother nature here in miami and decided to make my cold air a short ram. I Reset the ecu after the cold air to the short ram conversion and so far 2 weeks and no check engine light. so if anyone out there dosnt want to splice wires for a o2 simulator and has a similar setup to mine. This might work for you. It did for me.
Sorry to get off topic, I want to purchase headers but , does the dealer give you ____ when u take it to them? Liek for oil changes or service? I mean they sure as hell wont honor ur warranty if they see that. Just wondering b4 i buy.
they sure as hell better honor your warranty.
