Ok so I've been looking for an exhaust since I can remember joining here. I was finally settled on getting the Tanabe Concept G and I was absolutely in love with it. Well I'm 16 and its baseball season meaning little to no work, so I was saving all I could for it. Just last weekend I finally got enough saved up , and on March 1st, the price went up $150 . Now I have no idea what to do, so I only have one option and thats to come to you guys for help cause everyone on here just has the best ideas. So help me out, I want an exhaust that sounds just like the Tanabe with around the same cost. What do you think about either the TRD or Precission Muffle???

Please let me know your honest opinions, I have no idea what to do now...thanks!

 

precission makes good exhaust . trd doesnt make much more performance than stock

 

You really want that Tanabe. And ill tell you now... Tanabe is worth the wait.

Save up and get your Tanabe. Then post a vid on Youtube for me.

 

megan racing cat back................. cheap.. sounds and looks good..

 

With exhaust, you aren't going to get much power out of it anyways, I just want one that looks clean (not like the HKS with is outrageous angle) or greddy which you can fit a grapefruit in and i want a deep tone, NO RICE PLEASE lol. With the megan do you have it?

 

the Megan I heard a couple weeks back sounded like my TRD.....the owner had a CAI instead of SRI like I have........I have a bigger roar out of mine than he did....but most of that came from the Weapon R intake..........not sure why........but my intake at times feels louder than the exhaust........Megan sounds really good though.

 

well with your trd, is it a much more noticable roar, but without being too loud. I plan on going F/I this summer and I just want an exhaust that will let people know, yea I'm quick lol.

 

get teh megan. this thing roars more than anything out there. Deepest tone ive heard for our car and its a full catback, not jsut an axle back. wellll worth it!!! and you wont be dissapointed

megan, tanabe, megan, tanabe this is going to be one hard decision. Only this throwing me off, is everyone else paid 300 for their tanabe's why should i have to pay 500???

450 at showstoppers, still kinda high, i think its worth it, but for that much go for medallion touring!

 

got my agency power exhaust from a guy on here for 350 bucks . amazing deal should be coming soon

Ok so I have a guy where i can get the TRD exhaust for $360, do you guys think I should do that, I have that money and have heard nothign but god things about it...yes or no?

 

for 150 your better off with a tsudo and its probably obnoxiously louder than the tanabe. im not sure. i have magna flow catback and its pretty good. i want a 3" =/

its not to bad, i would def. recommend it for the price.

 

i payed 190 for my tanabe concept g, thanx to an ignorant seller on ebay. brand new too. apparently the guy had no history as a seller, was just starting up, so no one wanted to take the chance in bidding on an item for such a cheap price. i won it, but it took 3 weeks to get it since he 'ran out' at his shop the same week. just got lucky i guess.

 

Well all i really want is a deep rumble...there is not an exhaust out there thats gonna give you any noticable gain in hp so i just want to give my baby that mean growl and make my car sound more agressive
