I was wondering if someone could either take a video clip or sound clip of their car that has a header and intake installed (spipe optional) with the stock exhaust muffler taken off.

If anyone could do this for me, it would be great.

Ya i know it would sound like crap, Im just really curious as to how loud it would be, and how crappy it sounds. Dont get me wrong, its not like im not planning to run my car like this, im just really curious.

 

Im probably going to be getting the precision muffler setup soon and will try to put up a clip with no muffler...Im interested to see the rasp-tastic loudness myself.

 

If you could take a video/sound clip when you have the stock muffler off, that would be awsome.

BTW, I heard your video of your header and intake with the stock muffler, and I have to say the rasp that I heard at 1:20 sec wasnt that bad at all. You could hardly hear it. Anyways, if you could get that video up, that would be super.

Its not that bad..but I hate it

It looks like the precision kit will remove it altogether. But yes..when I do the swap I will take some video...I might not even drive around in it but Ill give it some revs in the driveway at the very least.

That will be so loud and hideous.... makes me cringe....

 

LOL...I know it will be awful...but it will be the undisputed benchmark for raspiness...everyone elses rasp will pale in comparison to heinousness which will be emitted

 

Thats for sure, atleast we will have a concrete definition for what raspy is.

 

OK...order has been placed and I should be getting it next week...I promise the video in ultra high defention dolby digital 7.2 audio. Not really, but I will post a video for all to cringe over.
